Would you like some tea with that party?
While I know that the tea party protest in the Capitol didn’t draw much attention from the main stream media, and what little coverage they gave it was devoted to under estimating the number of people in attendance, the latest estimate from a non-biased university puts the figure at 1.7 MILLION citizens who spent their time and money to travel to Washington to tell our Government to watch Their step. Anyway, a friend sent me some interesting pictures of the event that I feel should be shared.

Up the revolution!

Hey Grit,
Looks like quite the soiree’ – did you cater it?
Nothing like angry Americans to make me whistle a happy tune. ![]()

Hi Grit
What a fine bunch of people.
I would like to thank each and every one that made the trip to Washington. The only thing missing were the torches and pitchforks.
Maybe next time.

Your photos here make me upset I didn’t go!
Which was the non-biased university?

Tea and snacks are on the table; help yourselves.
Hi Annie,
That would be one hell of a catering bill! On the other hand as I heard once, “No job is too big; no fee is too big.”
Hi LC,
I’m thinking the torches and pitchforks will be skipped, going straight to guns. It’s not like there aren’t plenty to go around.
Hi Barb,
It looked like a fun event. On the other hand, crowds make me nervous. If memory serves, the university in question was Stanford, but I only heard it once.
